Dr. Mónika Iszály among the finalists for the IPMA Global Award

Dr. Mónika Iszály, Director of Product and Service Development at Innobyte Zrt., has been selected as a finalist for the IPMA Global Project Manager of the Year Award, a worldwide competition organised by the International Project Management Association (IPMA), one of the oldest global project management associations in the world.
During an 8-month long selection process, the IPMA evaluated applications from around the world to choose the three professionals who will be in with a shout of becoming the global project manager of the year. The results will be announced at the IPMA World Congress in St. Petersburg, Russia in November 2021. The three finalists come from Malaysia, Australia and Hungary, respectively.
Dr. Mónika Iszály led the implementation of the instant payment system in which all individual transactions below HUF 10 million are completed within 5 seconds, 24 hours a day. The project involved the development of a completely new infrastructure that integrates state-of-the-art solutions. This demanding project showcased her remarkable leadership capabilities, professional experience, and humane and empathetic approach.
The Director of Product and Service Development at Innobyte Zrt. received the Project Manager of the Year award in Hungary last year. “One of the key qualities and responsibilities of a project manager is to be able to assemble and maintain a capable project team and to ensure that everything is available to allow team members to carry out the tasks assigned to them as efficiently and smoothly as possible,” – she commented.
